Workplace relations and labour policy in the Corona crisis

The crisis triggered by the corona pandemic affects all areas of society – with consequences that are as yet hardly foreseeable. The economic consequences are immense, and despite large-scale government support, many companies are forced to reduce or completely shut down production, put employees on short-time work or even lay them off. Whether and how companies and employment can be protected, how operations can be resumed and with what consequences for work and employment are still largely open questions. A brief expert report will provide a basic outline of the current situation regarding co-determination in the company: How does the company practice of industrial relations and labour policy prove itself in the Corona crisis?

The results are expected in autumn 2020.
