KI-Mit – Artificial intelligence for employees
Works councils and other stakeholders face the challenge of constructively accompanying the processes for introducing artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in companies. This requires a basic understanding of the functioning, risks and consequences of AI if they are to represent their interests vis-à-vis employers. AI applications, which are increasingly being implemented in companies, are based on machine learning and make extensive use of the data generated by digitalised operational processes. This raises issues regarding data protection and improper evaluations. AI technologies should also be used, however, to improve the quality of work, for example with regard to occupational safety or reducing monotonous or stressful activities. The KI-Mit project aims to identify approaches that could help utilise the possibilities offered by AI for good work.
The Workshops will be held in winter 2020.
